I've been making beats since I was in middle school, and I knew from a young age that music was my passion. I graduated from New Roads high school in 2012, and began classes at Pepperdine University. Instead of attending classes there like a good student, I built a makeshift studio in my dorm room and created beats. Music was clearly my priority, and I left after four semesters to pursue it full-time.

I quickly achieved some moderate success as a producer and built my dream recording studio in a prime location on the west side of LA. However, my life became clouded by substances and depression, and I eventually wound up in rehab. After years of struggling and devolving into old habits, something clicked in November of 2020 and I’ve been sober since.

After some more success producing for other artists while sober, I still felt a void that I couldn't quite identify. Out of nowhere, an idea came to me. I called up sober livings I had previously stayed in, and asked if they might be interested in bringing some clients to my recording studio to make original music. To my delight, the clients loved the experience. I found a renewed sense of fulfillment in helping others unlock their passion and creativity in a safe, sober environment. Week after week, word spread about the recovery studio, and more and more clients came to record their original music. The results have been nothing short of amazing.

Today, I wake up with a sense of purpose. I get to refine my craft, help people in recovery, and build something way bigger than myself or my music. The Recovery Studio is not just a recording studio; it's a place where people can find hope, healing, and inspiration (and make sick music).
